The National Association of Italian Municipalities is a non-profit association that has been meeting since 1901.
About 7,134 Italian municipalities take part in the initiative, representing roughly 94.7% of the population.
This year’s edition, titled “We build Italy day by day”, will gather mayors, local administrators, institutional representatives, and companies, with the aim of highlighting the strategic role played by Italian municipalities in the development of a country focused on its citizens.
Once again, this year, Acea is participating in the 41st ANCI Annual Assembly, which will take place at Lingotto Fiere from 20 to 22 November, with an exhibition space of approximately 100 sqm. The Group, in support of its sustainable development goals, will address various topics, including the circular economy, infrastructure, and digitalization.

The “Robotics for Water” project of Acea’s Transformation Plan, aims to integrate robotic solutions into the water sector to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Robotic technologies are applied in three main areas: inspecting and monitoring infrastructures with advanced sensors, performing maintenance and repair operations on pipelines, and supporting construction activities with excavation robots and material handling solutions.
The viewer tracks head and body movements, translating them into virtual reality with realistic precision. 3D positional audio, which is integrated directly into the viewer, allows visitors to hear the surrounding environment.
TEDDI is a mobile robot capable of independently performing inspections and predictive monitoring of the Primary Transformer Room. Using its sensors, the robot collects and analyzes data, sending alarms to the operations rooms if necessary. Additionally, it can also be remotely controlled.
The system conducts detailed surveys of plants, providing precise mapping of the area. The collected images are then processed to create highly detailed three-dimensional models, aimed at analyzing and monitoring infrastructures in an innovative way.
