The project “Mother with Acea in your first 1,000 days” was created to support new mothers returning to work by providing practical tools to help them balance their personal and professional lives.

A symbolic event for an inclusive project

We launched the project with a special event filled with emotion, sharing, and tangible support for motherhood.

Two pages of an illustrated book for children, on the right page there is a green fish and the sentence "A river of emotions".

Voices from the event:

Our President, Barbara Marinali, welcomed 120 mothers, with their biological and adoptive children, who are participating in the project, emphasizing a key message: “No woman should be forced to choose between her career and her family.”

Eugenia Roccella, Minister for Family, Birth Rate and Equal Opportunities,
sent a heartfelt video message underscoring the social value of motherhood and the importance of collaboration between institutions and businesses.

Beatrice Lanciotti
and Silvia Bartolomucci from the Wellbeing & Inclusion team presented the project’s content, which was designed to ease the return to work for mothers, encourage birth rates, and promote work-life integration.

Emiliano Ranati, Chief People & Security Officer, spoke about Acea’s commitment to supporting mothers through concrete and inclusive initiatives.

Emiliano Maria Cappuccitti, Deputy Chief People & Security Officer, introduced the illustrated book “A River of Emotions”, created by Roberta Rindone, Brand Communication Specialist, and inspired by a question from her child: “Mum, who were you when I wasn’t here?”.

Before becoming parents, we are human beings with dreams, emotions, and passions still to be discovered. The event was hosted by Alessandro Sena, People Engagement Officer. It was made even more meaningful by Eliana Minoia, Head of Infrastructure, Headquarters & Control Room Security, who shared her personal experience and highlighted how crucial it is to feel supported by the company during such an important phase of life.
