Our investments at the service of Italy
Our Business Plan envisages a major investment programme worth 7.6 billion Euro over a period of five years.
The 2024-2028 “Green Diligent Growth” Business Plan, presented in March 2024, envisages a strong growth for the Acea Group, with a focus on three regulated sectors: water, electricity, environment. Whilst reinforcing our leadership role as infrastructure operator, we are moving within a highly evolving environment, which offers major investment opportunities:
in the integrated water sector, to modernise the infrastructure and reduce losses
in the electricity sector, to improve grid resilience and contribute towards the energy transition
in the environment sector, to promote expansion of the circular economy.
At the core of the strategy are our people and our skills. We are striving for operational excellence and the optimisation of investment allocation in our operations.
We have defined ambitious growth objectives as regards our investments and economic-financial results, creating more and more value for our shareholders.
Our Business Plan envisages a major investment programme worth 7.6 billion Euro over a period of five years.
The Plan allows us to implement a number of projects in support of Italy’s growth. As envisaged in the Plan, we are reinforcing the resilience of our water and electricity systems, also via technological innovation. We are increasing energy output from renewable sources, in particular by investing in photovoltaics. We are expanding in the waste treatment sector, with a view to becoming established as an operator of growing importance at national level.
