Description and goals

The project is aimed at reducing loss in water distribution networks, through digitalisation and monitoring of the networks. It contains a set of measures ranging from the survey and georeferencing of water networks, to the installation of smart instruments for measuring flow rates and pressures, to the districting and hydraulic modelling of the networks, to the installation of pressure control valves, to the pre-localisation of leaks, to extraordinary maintenance interventions and replacement of sections of water networks, to smart metres for measuring user volumes.

1.

Increase in the level of digitalization

2.

Reduction of losses and energy consumption

3.

Improvement of the quality of the service provided to citizens

4.

Increase the resilience of water systems to climate change
