What is Innovation Day

The Acea Innovation Day, now in its third edition, is an opportunity to take stock of innovation and to share the experience gained by the Acea Group, which in recent years has undertaken a process of constant innovation in all sectors in which it operates.

Acea Innovation Tour: an itinerant journey

The 2022 edition of the Innovation Day becomes itinerant, the Innovation Tour is divided into three stages:

June, 1st - Terni, Umbria - An in-depth look at Smart Cities
June, 8th - Naples , Campania - Challenges and advantages of Open Innovation
July, 8th - Rome, Lazio - Open and borderless innovations and ecological transition

Telling Acea’s ecological and digital transition through people, territories and innovation. This is the central theme of Acea Innovation tour 2022.

Rome stage of the 2022 Innovation Tour: Open innovation without borders and ecological transition

July, 8th, Lazio - Rome

The Rome stage ends our journey into innovation which illustrates the ecological and digital transition of the Group. During the event, the ecological transition guiding the transformation of our country will be analysed. The results of the Project involving the 'inno-sustainable tables' will be presented in line with the development of the Group’s plan for ecological and digital transition. Innovation without borders will be discussed taking into consideration the Digital Innovation Antenna, designed to intercept the emerging technologies for the development of ecological transition across the country, and inaugurated by Acea at the Mind the Bridge Innovation Center in San Francisco. In conclusion, a call4 start-ups will be launched in collaboration with the network la Carica delle 101, dedicated to works of research and innovation carried out by start-ups – founded by women – which have joined the initiative.

The Naples stage of the Innovation Tour 2022: challenges and advantages of Open Innovation

June, 8th Campania - Naples

LThe second stage of Acea Innovation Tour takes place in Naples, within the ‘Green MED Symposium’ event, focusing on ‘Open Innovation’. The experiences of Gesesa and Gori, the Acea Group companies operating in the water sector in the Campania region, will be at the centre of the meeting, together with the open call launched by Acea in partnership with Atos on the Open Innovation platform of the Campania Region.

June, 1st Umbria - Terni

The first stage takes place in Terni, Umbria, focusing on ‘Smart City’. Here, Acea Innovation and Umbria Energy, two companies of Acea Group, have created solutions for sustainable mobility and smart cities. During the event, three of the start-ups that participated in #ReshApCEA, the Open call launched by Acea in partnership with Ernst & Young, will be awarded.
